Tasting Room Wine Educator / Server

Sparkman Cellars is a family-owned winery founded in 2004 and located in the Old Redhook Brewery in Woodinville. We’re seeking an outgoing, detail-oriented lover of wine and hospitality to join us as a Tasting Room Wine Educator / Server.

We offer elevated, seated guest experiences similar to higher end restaurant service, but in a warm, non-pretentious manner. Prior experience at a winery/tasting room, restaurant or other hospitality related business is an asset.

A successful applicant is an extrovert who brings positivity, dependability and a strong work ethic to the workplace. A love for guest service, wine and a desire to expand your wine knowledge is necessary to excel in this position. Although not required, schedule flexibility is extremely helpful. • This posting is for Saturday and Sunday. Please only apply if you are available to work the weekends consistently. Also, there is the potential for occasional additional days, including some evenings, if agreeable.
• $17.13 per hour plus tips (which average $12-15+ per hour), incentives and wine discounts

• Principal duties of a Tasting Room Wine Educator / Server are to provide exceptional hospitality, education and a memorable wine tasting experience for our guests

Additional duties are, but not limited to, the following

• Build relationships with our guests and wine club members via table service
• Help execute winery events and promotions
• General tasting room opening, closing and side-work duties
• General tasting room maintenance and upkeep
• Restocking
• Assist the Tasting Room Manager and Sparkman team as needed

Must be in good physical condition, able to stand for long periods of time and able to lift 50 lbs. (frequent heavy lifting is required). Also, must be 21 years old and obtain a valid Class 12 pourers license within 30 days of starting.
