Wine Club Manager

Bayernmoor Cellars — Woodinville, WA Full-Time Hourly | Wednesday – Sunday

About Bayernmoor Cellars

Bayernmoor Cellars is an award-winning winery blending the sustainable winemaking tradition of our Estate vineyard with unexpected food pairings at our Woodinville Tasting Room and truly original experiences. Named 2024 Washington Winery of the Year by Great Northwest Wines and a 2023 Fabulous Four Washington Winery of the Year by Seattle Wine Awards, we're redefining the wine-tasting experience with passion and a spirit of pure fun. Our Woodinville Tasting Room is just 45 minutes from our estate vineyard, where we cultivate the highest-quality grapes through sustainable farming.

We're not your typical winery, and we're not looking for a typical employee. We're looking for someone who thrives in the unconventional and wants to help us define the future of Washington wine.

The Role

We're hiring a Wine Club Manager to oversee, grow, and nurture the Bayernmoor wine club community across all five membership tiers — Grand Cru, Classe Cru, Premier Cru, Debut Cru, and Industry Club. This person will be the heart of our member experience: the voice behind the emails, the face at our events, and the driving force behind member retention and growth.

Because our wine club members are the lifeblood of our events — filling our release parties, winemaker's dinners, and exclusive gatherings — this role also requires strong event planning, management, and execution skills. You'll be responsible for producing events that strengthen the connection between our members and the Bayernmoor brand, making every gathering feel personal, creative, and unforgettable.

You'll work closely with the owners and winemakers, Kim and Larry, as well as the Tasting Room and Winery teams to ensure every club member feels like part of the Bayernmoor family.

What You'll Do

Wine Club Operations & Releases

  • Build and manage wine club releases for all club tiers using Commerce7, our point-of-sale and club management platform. Commerce7 will be your primary system for processing all transactions, managing member accounts, and handling club logistics.
  • Create compelling wine club release emails and member communications using Klaviyo.
  • Coordinate customized selections and ensure accurate, timely fulfillment of seasonal and special releases.

Member Relationships & Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for wine club members via phone, email, text (using RedChirp), and in person.
  • Proactively connect with members to foster deeper relationships, resolve questions, and ensure an outstanding club experience.
  • Communicate with warmth, personality, and the kind of unconventional spirit that defines Bayernmoor.
  • Attend and participate in weekly manager meetings.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining wine club collateral.

 Growth & Engagement

  • Develop strategies to grow wine club membership and improve member retention.
  • Track member engagement, identify trends, and recommend ways to enhance the club program.
  • Champion the member experience at every touchpoint.
  • Assist in training staff on wine club procedures for signups, wine club events, and wine club benefits so they operate as an extension of the club experience.

 Event Planning, Management & Execution

Our wine club members make up a significant portion of our event attendees, so delivering exceptional events is a key extension of the member experience. In this role you will:

  • Plan, manage, and execute wine club events at both the Woodinville Tasting Room and the Estate Winery, including wine club release parties, quarterly estate tours, winemaker's dinners, the annual Grand Cru Dinner, and other exclusive gatherings.
  • Own event logistics end to end — timelines, budgets, vendor coordination, setup, day-of management, breakdown, and post-event follow-up.
  • Collaborate with the team and outside partners to create memorable, one-of-a-kind experiences that reflect Bayernmoor's creative and unconventional spirit.
  • Develop fresh event concepts and themed experiences that surprise and delight members and keep them coming back.
  • Track event attendance, member feedback, and results to continuously improve future events.
  • Occasional trips to our warehouse location in Arlington for wine inventory and fulfillment needs.
  • Step in to pour and serve wine in the Woodinville and Estate tasting rooms as needed to support the team during busy periods or staffing gaps.
  • Other tasks as deemed necessary by ownership.

 Who You Are

  • Above all, you're a people person — you light up when connecting with others and making someone's day.
  • You are a self-starter with a bias for action and a drive for constant improvement.
  • You have experience and are comfortable working in Point-of-Sale and club management systems, such as Commerce7.
  • You bring strong event planning and execution skills — you know how to take an event from concept through flawless delivery and can manage the logistics, the vendors, and the unexpected with confidence.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You're organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects and timelines.
  • You work well with others and thrive in a fun, energetic, and dynamic team environment.
  • You're tech-savvy and confident learning new platforms (Klaviyo, RedChirp, etc.).
  • You have a passion for wine, hospitality, or community-driven brands.
  • You're able to lift up to 50 pounds (for handling wine cases and event setup).
  • You have reliable transportation. This role requires travel between our Woodinville Tasting Room, Estate Winery, and warehouse location in Arlington.

Note: This role manages the wine club program and member relationships — not staff. You'll collaborate closely with the tasting room and winery teams, but your focus is on our members.

 Required Certifications

  • MAST Permit — Must be obtained within two weeks of hire.
  • Food Worker's Card — Must be obtained within two weeks of hire.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in club management, DTC (direct-to-consumer) sales, or hospitality.
  • Proven experience in event planning, coordination, and on-site event management.
  • Familiarity with Commerce7, Klaviyo, or similar CRM/POS and email marketing platforms.

 Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time hourly position, Wednesday through Sunday.
  • Range: $20–$26/hour, depending on experience.
  • Pooled tips when pouring wine during service hours.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) with employer matching after one year of employment.
  • Accrued Paid Time Off

 Why Bayernmoor?

This isn't just a job — it's a chance to be part of something special. You'll join a tight-knit team at one of Washington's most celebrated and unconventional wineries, where every day brings a new opportunity to create unforgettable moments with our members. If you love wine, people, pushing boundaries, and a little bit of the unexpected, we'd love to hear from you.

To apply, please send your resume and a brief note about why you'd be a great fit for the Bayernmoor family to [email protected].
