Tasting Room Associate

Spend your summer in beautiful Friday Harbor surrounded by exceptional wine, sunshine, and people. San Juan Vineyard is hiring part-time seasonal Tasting Room Staff to help create memorable guest experiences in a fun, fast-paced environment. 

We’re looking for enthusiastic, hospitality-driven team players who love connecting with people. If you bring positive energy and enjoy creating welcoming, engaging experiences, we’d love to meet you. No wine expertise required— training is provided. 

What You’ll Do

Deliver warm, high-quality guest experiences while pouring wine (including tasting room hours, private events, and summer music nights)

Share our story, wine knowledge, and fun island recommendations (we’ll train you)

Assist guests with purchases and keep the tasting room running smoothly

Support daily operations through light cleaning, organizing, and presentation

Jump in to help teammates as needed to keep things efficient 

What We’re Looking For

Energetic, outgoing personality with a team-first mindset

Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude

Willingness to learn about wine and the San Juan Vineyard story

Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and remain on your feet throughout your shift

Must be 21 years of age or older 

Nice to Have (but Not Required)

Previous tasting room, hospitality, or wine industry experience

Familiarity with eCellar or similar point-of-sale systems
