Tasting Room Associate
This role is ideal for someone who loves creating memorable guest experiences, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being part of an enthusiastic, collaborative team.

This position requires primarily weekend and holiday shifts and a minimum of 24 hours per week.

What You Will Do

• Greet all visitors warmly and ensure they leave with a memorable experience
• Present wines, share winery history, and provide accurate wine education
• Promote and sell wine and Wine Club memberships
• Host guests during busy shifts and dedicated events
• Participate in off-site winery functions (minimum one per month)
• Replenish wine, merchandise, and supplies
• Maintain a polished, clean tasting room environment
• Manage purchasing transactions accurately (POS, cash handling)
• Follow all WSLCB regulations
• Assist with food prep, serving, dishwashing, and glass polishing
• Work off-site and special events including Wine Walks and Club Release Events

What We Are Looking For

• Regular availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts (Fri–Sun)
• Ability to work 24 hours per week
• Professional, personable, and welcoming demeanor
• Strong general wine knowledge and familiarity with the Washington wine industry
• Previous sales and customer service experience in hospitality
• Cheerful outlook with guests and coworkers
• Proficiency with POS systems (OrderPort / CellarPass)
• Flexibility in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable hosting during host-driven shifts

Physical & Licensing Requirements

• Valid Washington State MAST Class 12 Permit
• Valid Washington State Food Handler’s Permit
• Must be 21 years of age
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
