Position Overview:

We’re looking for a passionate, guest-focused Tasting Room Lead to join our team! In this role, you’ll support the tasting room manager and lead by exam
ple in delivering exceptional hospitality. You’ll assist with day-to-day operations, support team members, and help create memorable guest experiences. If you love wine, enjoy engaging with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Hospitality
• Serve as the point of contact when the Tasting Room Manager is not present
• Lead and support team members by example through professionalism, service, and wine knowledge
• Engage with guests to provide an educational and enjoyable tasting experience
• Answer questions and resolve issues for both guests and team members

Administrative Duties
• Update tasting menus and tasting sheets regularly
• Print and organize all tasting room forms and materials
• Assist with customer orders, including phone and email communication
• Help execute events, club releases, and special experiences

Tasting Room Operations
• Pour and present wine tastings to guests
• Assist with plating and serving food offerings (e.g. charcuterie boards, hummus plates)
• Maintain a clean and organized tasting room environment (including mopping, dusting, sweeping)
• Keep all tasting room materials, collateral, and merchandise organized

Events & Club Support
• Work wine club pick-up events (held twice per year)
• Assist with the planning, set-up, and execution of winery events

Qualifications:
• Prior tasting room or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must be available to work Sundays and some Saturdays
• Proficiency in point-of-sale and reservation systems
• -> A flexible and proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently and take initiative
• -> Demonstrates exceptional reliability
• Must have a current Food Handler’s Permit and MAST Certification (or be willing to obtain before start date)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
