Overview:
We are looking for passionate, dependable, and hospitality-driven individuals to join our tasting room team as Tasting Room Lead / Associate. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a growing winery dedicated to quality, community, and exceptional guest experiences. As an important face of our brand, you will bring our story to life through warm hospitality, engaging wine education, and thoughtful service, helping create experiences guests will remember long after their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm
  • Lead engaging wine tastings and share knowledge of our wines, vineyards, and winemaking philosophy
  • Guide guests through tasting flights with confidence, accurately describing wine profiles and answering questions with ease
  • Process wine and merchandise purchases through the POS system while handling transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including tasting room setup, reset, and cleanup
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation throughout the tasting room and back-of-house areas
  • Help monitor and replenish inventory of wine, food, merchandise, and operating supplies
  • Support private tastings, wine club events, and other special guest experiences
  • Step in as a lead contact when the manager or owners are not on site, helping maintain seamless daily operations

Requirements:

  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Prior hospitality, retail, or tasting room experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, a love for storytelling, and a passion for wine. Advanced wine knowledge or certification (e.g., WSET, CMS, CSW) is a plus.
  • Proficiency with POS systems, reservation platforms, and inventory management.
  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as scheduled.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Required permits (MAST and Food Handler’s) or ability to obtain promptly.

Schedule:

  • Part Time ~18 hrs. / week
  • Availability on Sunday through Tuesday is required
  • Opportunity to pick up additional shifts as needed
  • Flexibility to support both on-site and off-site events
